At the fourth edition of the InvesTenergy Gala, specialists, experts, professionals from the energy sector and related fields were honored and awarded for their daily activity, professionalism, dedication and performance.

Among them was our colleague, Denisa Iamandei, Technical Manager SCADA and Automation. Denisa has been recognized for her valuable contributions in the field, and we are proud of her achievements. 👏

The award obtained at the InvesTenergy Gala is a recognition of your professionalism and dedication. Congratulations! What does this recognition mean to you?

Thank you! First of all, I feel honored for this recognition and I want to thank my colleagues for thinking of me and considering that I deserve this award. This recognition is proof that my daily activity is appreciated and recognized within the company and that the projects I work on together with my team bring added value to both the company and the final beneficiary.

How did you start your career in the energy field and what motivated you to continue?

My career in the energy field began when I graduated from the Faculty of Energetics at the Polytechnic University of Bucharest in 2016. Shortly after graduation, I joined the Adrem team and each important project, with an impact on the energy system, motivated me to continue the activity and contribute to its completion. The greatest motivation comes when the project is implemented and our work begins to take shape, and the results appear.

How do you manage to keep up to date with new technologies and technical/commercial solutions?

I regularly participate in conferences where new technologies in the field are presented and we have an extremely close commercial relationship with the main manufacturers of equipment and solutions on the market, which is why we are always up to date with any product that appears on the market or innovative solution implemented.

Can you share with us one of the most challenging projects you have worked on so far and of which you are very proud?

All our projects are challenging because each one has its own particularities and “obliges” us to look for a solution for each one. The project I can say that I am attached to is “Works on the execution of the interconnection pipeline of the Natural Gas Transmission System in Romania with the Natural Gas Transmission System in the Republic of Moldova – Phase II – Iasi-Ungheni-Chisinau direction”, because I directly participated both in the construction of the technical solution and in the implementation of the project.

What skills did you develop within the Adrem team and how did they help you establish yourself as an energy specialist?

Within the Adrem team I have developed all the skills I have at the moment, because I have been part of the team since graduating from college. I learned to work in a team and coordinate a team, but also to have a very good spirit of observation and to analyze a problem regarding the big picture, without getting lost in details.

What advice would you give to younger colleagues or those starting their careers in energy, in terms of their professional development?

I think the best advice is to be curious and ask a lot of questions. If you are an involved and persevering person, the chance of success is very high.
