Adrem participated in the Career in the Energy Industry conference, organized by the Society of Energy Angels in Romania (SIER). On this occasion, Corneliu Bodea, CEO of ADREM, held a seminar on leadership, and Ramona Baiu, Human Resources Manager Adrem, a presentation of the company and the particularities of the Adrem summer internship program.
The event organized by SIER, addressed mainly to young engineers, but also to students in the energy field, attracts some of the most important companies operating in Romania.
They are interested in providing information about summer internship programs, internships, but also about the recruitment process in order to get a job from the first year after completing their studies.
Seminar at SIER Corneliu Bodea, CEO of Adrem: Is leadership a criterion in the career race?
Corneliu Bodea, CEO of Adrem & President of CRE, held, on the occasion of the SIER Conference: Career in the Energy Industry, the personal development seminar: Is leadership a criterion in choosing a career?, which was attended by more than 120 young engineers, students and graduates.
One of the key aspects of the workshop was that of personal and organizational values, and the way they are reflected in the leadership style, especially in the context of the transfer of knowledge, skills and abilities, but also of the transfer of role responsibilities. Adrem integrates organizational values in all its projects, as reflected in the sustainability report, an activity initiated by Adrem since 2016, which also considers the analysis of the impact on the community through the educational programs offered.
The participants identified among the most important values that can be found in the hierarchy of values of a leader authenticity, courage, integrity, respect and the ability to communicate. This is neither the first nor the last occasion when CEO Adrem gets in touch with young people with leadership potential. This is a recurring theme in order to train future generations.
Although the volume of participants was very high, there was the possibility of direct interactions throughout the workshop. The students from the Faculty of Energetics of the University of Bucharest thus had the opportunity to practice certain leadership skills, moderating, according to the model, teams made up of their colleagues.
Summer internship for energy engineers – Adrem’s message
On the occasion of the conference “Career in the Energy Industry”, organized by the youth branch of SIER, Adrem starts the internship program for 2019, and expects, between April 1st and May 1st, applications from students, masters students and recent graduates for the summer internship.
Our company’s message to all SIER participants is that the first step towards a successful career begins with Adrem, through the internship program dedicated to students and graduates who want to try working in a specialized company, and for whom we receive applications here.
Adrem internship program – for students and young professionals
The internship program offered by Adrem is part of the company’s strategy to invest in human resources, both within the company and in the interest of the community in which it operates, facilitating access to advanced technical knowledge and examples of good practice that participants can use to consolidate their knowledge in their chosen field.
One of the main advantages of the Adrem internship program is the fact that participants have a real work experience, right from the selection stage, through the interviews organized for this purpose by Adrem human resources specialists. Moreover, in 2019 Adrem continues the tradition of internships for which there is, in certain cases, a job offer at the end of the internship program.
The selection process at Adrem practice simulates the experience on the labor market
Although applications from different specializations are accepted, as well as from students and graduates, all participants have in common the fact that they want to learn from Adrem professionals, and they want a career accompanied by Adrem’s values: ambition, respect, rigor, involvement and responsibility.
Hundreds of applications are sent annually, of which, as a rule, 20% are selected for the internship itself. It lasts a total of 8 weeks, of which the first two are dedicated to the detailed presentation of each department to all participants, in order to select the department in which they will do the internship later, during the 6 weeks of the internship program.
In previous editions of the summer internship at Adrem, the participants also particularly appreciated the relationship with a mentor meant to guide them in their careers, but also in the direct learning experience at work, by guiding them in familiarizing them with the technologies and methods used in the field.
The application consists of a letter of intent and a curriculum vitae in any format desired by the candidate (except europass), sent to this address.
