Bucharest, May 16, 2018 – The Adrem Group of energy companies launches the first Sustainability and Transparency Report for 2016, according to international standards (Global Reporting Initiative G4) and presents the company’s impact on the Romanian economy, as well as the results in areas such as corporate governance, human resources, investments and the relationship with local communities, performance and contribution to the development of services and solutions in the energy sector.
Adrem, directly, supports 850 families, a total of about 2250 people* in the Oltenia region. This number is equal to approximately 25% of the total number of the unemployed population in Gorj or Mehedinti county**.
Or the total number of children enrolled in kindergarten in Slatina, Olt County.*** Or the total number of children enrolled in school in Calafat County.
Some other examples of the Adrem group’s achievements in 2016:
- 0 work accidents resulting in loss of life;
- 100% of the employees are Romanian citizens;
- staff turnover rate below 10%;
- 22% of the group’s employees were included in performance and career development programs;
- 46,000 RON are invested annually in social responsibility programs for communities in Romania.
