The Adrem<\/strong> entrepreneurial group celebrates this month 30 years of activity and impact in the energy industry<\/a>. For 30 years, Adrem<\/strong> has been contributing to the development of the global metallurgical industry, to the development of the energy industry and to Romania’s energy transition, with a long-term commitment to the fight against climate change, to sustainable development and to supporting our country in the transition to a more responsible society in relation to people, the environment in which we live and the resources we use. <\/p>\n\n

The Adrem<\/strong> company was founded in 1992 by Adrian Bodea, who started with the dream of refurbishing the Romanian industry, after which his brother, Corneliu Bodea, who is now the CEO of the Adrem group, joined. Together, through thick and thin, the two brothers led Adrem to the top of companies in the metallurgy and energy industries, playing a defining role in the energy transition, supporting the transition from an obsolete fossil fuel-based system to a modern, sustainable, efficient and automated system. <\/p>\n\n

Since 1992, Adrem has been supplying degassing plants and metallurgical equipment globally, with over 50% of the market share in the field, with activity on four continents. At present, the company has in its portfolio over 40 degassing plants and over 300 metallurgical equipment, as well as a unique technology in the world, patented, for liquid steel vacuuming. <\/p>\n\n

At the same time, Adrem has in its portfolio among the largest energy security projects in Romania and in the region: the automation of the BRUA gas pipeline (Bulgaria-Romania-Hungary-Austria); the automation of the DN600 Ungheni \u2013 Chisinau natural gas transmission pipeline<\/strong>, which has proven vital in the current context of military conflict in the region; and the automation of the new bidirectional natural gas metering station in Isaccea, capable of ensuring the import and export of natural gas from Ukraine to Bulgaria and vice versa. Projects for the digitization of smart grids, renewable energy and e-mobility remain a priority for the coming years and Adrem’s contribution to Romania’s development. <\/p>\n\n
